Travel is a privilege. These are the principles that guide every Aurora journey — for our guests, our partners, and the places that host us.
All Aurora sanctuaries operate on verified low-impact standards. We measure carbon, offset transparently, and invest 3% of every booking into local conservation partnerships. Single-use plastics are prohibited across all properties.
We do not offer encounters that involve captive, performing, or disrupted wildlife. All nature experiences are led by trained naturalists who prioritise animal welfare and minimal trail impact.
We work with local communities as partners, not subjects. Guests are invited to learn, not to consume. Sacred sites are visited only with community permission, and guides are always local voices.
At least 78% of each retreat's operating value remains in the host region. Staff wages exceed regional living-wage benchmarks, and we publish an annual transparency report.
We ask guests to arrive curious, depart lightly, and treat every staff member, local partner, and natural feature with the care they deserve. A guest guide is shared before arrival.
All wellness practitioners are licensed, trauma-informed, and operate within their scope. We do not make medical claims. Our programs support — but do not replace — professional healthcare.
We are committed to expanding access. Please speak with a curator about mobility, dietary, sensory, or other considerations — we will adapt where possible.
Questions, concerns, or feedback are always welcome at [email protected]. We read every message.
